EZ Guide to netECHO®           Version 5.0, July 2006

 

Welcome to netECHO, your ticket to unlimited Web access using nothing but your phone!

The first time you log onto our system, you will get an introductory tutorial that will guide you through netECHO’s many features.

 Here’s an overview:

 

Dial the access number provided to you

  1. When prompted provide your netECHO user id and passcode.
  2. Follow the prompts

 

 

Main menu is the primary access point for netECHO services. You may select the desired service by using voice commands or keypad entry.  You may return to Main Menu at any time by keying in ** on the keypad.  You may also return to the previous page or previous command by pressing #7.

  

MynetECHO – offers personalized information and can be customized by visiting our website at www.internetspeech.com and logging in with your user ID and passcode, or by contacting our customer service at: 1-408-532-8460 or  1-877-312-4638

 

From main menu you may choose the following:

  • Surf the net
  • Search a word/topic
  • Obtain stock quote
  • Retrieve your email
  • Today’s news
  • Shopping
  • Other Features – Directory Assistance, Dictionary
  • More options (which includes: Weather, Horoscopes, Bible)
  • E-Z Guide and Introduction

Surf the net – You can surf any website.  The following are the four available options:

  • Popular websites
  • Bookmarked websites
  • Interactive spelling - allows you to go to any website by using voice commands to spell the desired website address. After you spell each letter, netECHO confirms it, providing a convenient opportunity for corrections. You do not need to include the prefix “http://www.”  or the suffix “.com”.   You can say “My Spelling”  to listen to the word spelled.   Say Back Space to go back a letter and then say the desired letter again to make a correction.
  • keypad entry-  you may key-in the letters via the phone keypad (see the Table below). Please note that you can type a  maximum of  20 digits or maximum of 10 letters at a time. After typing 20 digits or 10 letters at a time, netECHO will ask you to confirm the letters you have typed.

Web Search

 You can choose most favorite Search Engines. You can spell the search word by using Interactive Spelling or Key Pad Entry.

Stock quotes – You can get stock quotes by saying the company name or stock symbol.

Email  - You will be able to read, compose, forward, and delete email.  We currently support

Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL or POP3 email. To set up your AddressBook, follow the voice prompts

after you say, “my email”, or by visiting our website at www.internetspeech.com and logging in

with your user I.D. and PIN code.  If you do not currently have an email address, please go to the

above websites, create your own email address and then follow the above instructions, or please

contact our customer support at : 1-408-532-8460 or 1-877-312-4638.

News   - You can listen to general news, business news and sports news.               

More Options - Weather, horoscopes, religion

 

Other Key Features – Streaming Audio,  Shopping, Dictionary, Directory Assistance, E-Z Guide, Help, Link, No-Link, Page Highlights, Introduction, List Bookmarks, Save Bookmark, List Popular Websites, List AddressBook, My Spelling, Back Space and Repeat.

E-Z Guide has a short description of all the key commands. Just say E-Z guide from the Main Menu or any Sub Menu.
